They both have something going to the moon. They both had the moon in the folklore. The first one a woman took something to get to the moon and the second one the grandfather of the moon took the rabbit to the moon.

Both of them have to do with the moon and the second one dosent have any Chinese people in it:-) And they both have to do with kindness like M&M said:-)

the first did not have any animals the second did. The first involved the sun the second the moon. There was a very nice character in both ,the man who shot the suns and the rabbit.
