My last thing I learned was that a legend tells that a long time ago a big dragon like beast came to china and they used RED and FIRECRACKERS to scare away the beast. So now they use the color red a lot and it is a good color because they scared away the beast with it. And the same thing goes for the firecrackers!

Firecrackers and the color red are use to scare away beast.Also red is the color of happiness.I learned China was the 4th biggest country and I also learned Confucius was China's first philosopher! : D

When I saw that there where more than 18,000,000 blocks in the great wall of China I knew I had to pick that fact before someone else picked that one. I also found that red keeps evil spirits away .

The 2 things I didn't know was that cleaning your house also means settling all your unfinished business to start fresh for the new year and that eating chicken on Chinese New Year means you'll have good luck.

I am doing a extra one. That when a good spirit named buddha asked all the animals to come to say goo-bye to him before he left the earth but only 12 animals came that was the dog,dragon,ox,boar,rat,sheep,monkey,snake,horse,rabbit,tiger and the rooster.
